According to him, Abuja to Port Harcourt road was last done under Abacha and the railway was abandoned in a state of disrepair.
Buhari who queried what was done with all the money generated in the previous dispensation, lamented that anytime he travelled around the country, he noticed that youths below the ages of 30 do not have an opportunity for education. “Education is the best solution to our problems. If our youths are educated, they can overcome prejudices. They can decide for themselves.
“On the economy-unemployment, we are investing in agriculture. We have three rainy seasons. The government made available fertilizer to farmers. We have attained food security in the country. Nigerians are eating Nigerian rice,” Buhari said. On war against bribery and corruption, he said it was a difficult problem, saying now they allow security agencies to investigate the corrupt person. Insisting that he was doing his best, Buhari however, assured that under his watch, he would make sure that recovered proceeds of corruption from Europe and America were not returned to the looters the way it was done in 1987.

Comrade Oshiomole said those who were crying out over rigging were the ones who actually rigged elections in the country
He said that the former President Olusegun Obasanjo never won his polling booth and INEC always cancelled that booth.
The APC boss urged APC members to man their booths, insisting that before anybody brings his CV to Abuja, the person must come along with results from his booth, ward, local government and state.
He charged APC faithful to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari and National Assembly candidates on February 16 and governorship and State House of Assembly candidates on March 2.
In his speech, the Director General of Buhari’s Campaign Organization, Rotimi Amaechi, also promised that at the next Federal Executive Council meeting, the railway line from Port Harcourt to Enugu would be approved.
Chief Ken Nnamani, former Senate President and Vice Chairman, South, APC Presidential Council described Buhari as a man of integrity, impeccable character and sound mind and ask the people of South East to join the winning spree in order to end the cry of marginalization.
