Could it have been a well calculated political strategy or just an appointment at the right time? This have been the dabate by many news readers shortly after the appointee list was rolled out. Some believe this are antics or strategy ahead of 2019, In the last past weeks, President Muhammadu Buhari’s approach to politics has changed from that of isolation to one that is trying as much as possible, to be accommodating all shades of opinions, especially those hitherto neglected in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The new direction, which is already giving a new definition to Buhari’s politics, is believed to be pointing to one fact; new rapprochement is needed to cross the hurdle of 2019 elections. Either the opinion is well founded or not, one should expect more strategies from the dominant parties in preparation for 2019.
