The supreme court has upheld the decisions made by three separate tribunals on the election of three Governors, Sule Abdullahi of Nassarawa, Seyi Makinde of Oyo state and Mallam Nasir El-Rufai of Ondo state.
In the case of Nasarawa Governor Abdullahi Sule, the court dismissed the appeal of David Ombugadu and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against the March 9, 2019 victory of Sule.
The seven-man panel led by Justice Mary Peter-Odili said the appeal lacked merit.
