Afrobeats singer Davido, his fiancee, Chioma, his bestie Cubana Chief Priest, Zlatan Ibile and other 30BG crew have paid a courtesy visit to the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II over the weekend.
They travelled down to feature as special guest at the children’s party organised by the Oba of Benin on Saturday.
They also honoured one of their own Israel DMW with their presence at his wedding.
On their arrival at the Oba’s palace, the Afrobeats singer and his entourage were given a warm welcome by the Oba, his chiefs and others presence who were already seated.
“Davido, a great musician, a great singer; your welcome,” said the Oba.
While Davido responded with the words, “Oba Ato kpee!’ in greetings to the revered traditional ruler.
The Oba also introduced his eldest child/daughter to the globally celebrated singer.
The event organised by the Royal father was part of activities to celebrate his birthday and sixth year anniversary on the throne.
The ceremony featured dance competition with lots of prices given to deserving winners.
