The current season, which was hampered by the outbreak of COVID-19, started on September 12, 2021. It is scheduled to end May 23, 2021.

Manchester City is currently top of the Premier League with 71 points.
Pep Guardiola’s men are 14 points ahead of second-placed Manchester United with eight games left to play.
