Could it be past criticisms or grievances yet unsettled, well on a day like this one will not have expected the Duo, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, as well as Former President Goodluck Jonathan to have missed the special occasion. But as at the opening of the event at Eagle Square Abuja both the former and the later were conspicuously absent venue of the 2019 Democracy Day celebration.
Former presidents and Heads of state were scheduled to arrive the venue by 9.35am. Obasanjo apart from criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari’s first term administration had advised Buhari not to run for the 2019 Presidential election.
Also absent at 10.15am when President Muhammadu Buhari arrived the venue was the former Head of State, Yakubu Gowon.
